Bhutan
known as Druk Yul the Dragon Kingdom is perhaps the last Shangri-La,
parctically unmarried by modern highways, railroads and industrial
plants.
Bhutan follows Lama Buddhism as
it's main religion. A religion that is still very much alive and
deep rooted in the life of it's people. Known for it's unspoiled
tradition and culture BHUTAN the past is still the present and it's
religion still a way of life.
Places like Thimpu (capital), Paro
and Punakha are some of the visited tourist places. Tongsa and Bumthang
have rich historical heritage and is now a major Tourist attaction.
Besides it's rich culture and tradition
the country is gifted with breathtaking scenic beauty lavished untainted
flora and undaunted fauna.
Bhutan is also known for it's colorful
festivals with Mask Dances depicting it's rich cultural heritage
with deeply rooted religious meanings.
