BHUTAN Tour/Trek

GLIMPSES OF BHUTAN (03 NTS/04 DAYS)
Day 01 Fly to PARO on Drunk-Air. You will be met at the airport and transfer provided to MON Thimpu (65 Kms/2 hrs. Approx.)
Day 02 Thimpu: Full day local sightseeing tour.
TUE AM:Visit Zeleukha Nunnery, National Libary and Memorial Chorten of His Majesty Late Jigme Dorjee Wangchuk.
PM: Stroll dodwn town to the Handicraft Development Corporation which displays all kinds of traditional handicraft products of Bhutan.
Day 03 Thimpu - Paro (65 Kms/2 hrs)
WED AM: After breakfast drive leisurely to Paro.
PM: Drive throught the Paro valley to see the Drukgyel Dzong/Kyichu Lhakhang. On a clear day one can see the Majestic Jhomolhari Mountain or better known as the The Mountain of Goddess (7314 Mts). Also visit the National Museum located in the Ta Dzong which displays a rich collection of fine arts and weapons. O/N Hotel.
Day 04 Drive to airport for your flight.

MYSTIC BHUTAN (4 NTS/5 DAYS)

Day 01 Fly to Paro and drive to Thimpu.
THU/MON Fly to Paro and upon arrival meet, assist and drive to Thimpu. O/N Hotel.
Day 02 Thimpu: Full day local sightseeing tour.
FRI/TUE AM: Visit the Memorial Chorten of the Late King Jigme Dorjee Wangchuk in the heart of Thimpu town/The Tashichhodzong, "The fortress of the auspicious Religion."
PM: Stroll downtown to the Handicraft Development Corporation which displays all kinds of traditional handicraft products of Bhutan. O/N Hotel.
Day 03 Thimpu-Paro (65 Kms/2 hrs).
SAT/WED AM: After breakfast drive lesiurely to Paro.
PM: Drive through the Paro valley to see the Drukgyel Dzong/Kyichu Lhakhang. On a clear day one can see the white doomed majestic Jhomolhari Mountain or better known as the Mountain of Goddness. Also visit The National Museum located in the Ta Dzong which O/N. Hotel.
Day 04 Paro: Excursion to Taktsang Lhakang.
SUN/THU AM: After breakfast drive to Sartsham Chorten and then two hours of horse riding uphill will take you to the Taktsang cafeteria. After refreshment a short trek to the view point to witness a fascinating eye level view of the famous Taktsang Lhakhang also known as the tigers nest.
PM: After lunch a slow downhill trek to sartsham Chorten and then drive to hotel. O/N Hotel.
Day 05 Drive to airport for your flight or exit by overland.

MON/FRI

ACROSS THE KINGDOM (7 NTS/8 DAYS)
Day 01 Fly to Paro and drive to Thimpu. O/N Hotel.
MON/THU

Day 02 Thimpu: Full day local sightseeing tour.

Day 03 Thimpu-Punakha (77 Kms/3 hrs approx.)

WED/SAT AM: After brekfast drive over the spectacular Dochula pass to the warm and fertile valley of Punakha.

PM: Visit the historic Punakha Dzong, once the seat of the old capital of Bhutan. The magnicificent Dzong is sprawled between the Phochu and Mochu rivers. O/N Hotel.

Day 04 Punakha-Bhumanthang (210 Kms/08 hrs approx.)

THU/SUN AM: Early morning drive to the valley of Bhumanthang through the Yotola pass. This valley is considered a very scared place for the Bhutanese with many temples and holy places. O/N at Bhumanthang Tourist Lodge.

Day 05 Bhumanthang: Full day sightseeing.

FRI/MON AM: Drive to Mebarsho. This gorge is the holy site and pilgrimage place where Guru Rimpoche had hidden religious treasures later discovered by Terton Pema Lingpa. Visit Kurjey Lhakang, the most sacred and popular monastery in Bhumanthang. O/N at Bhumanthang Tourist Lodge.

Day 06 Bhumanthang-Thimpu (267 Kms/08 hrs approx.)

SAT/TUE AM: Early morning drive to Thimpu via Tongsa and Wangdiphodrang. O/N. Hotel.

Day 07 Thimpu-Paro (65 Kms/2 hrs)

SUN/WED AM: Visit Drukgyel Dzong/Kyichu Lhakang and The National Muesum.

PM: Excursion to Taktsang Lhakang.

Day 08 Drive to airport for your flight or exit by overland.

MON/THU

CHOMOLHARI TREK (10 NTS/11 DAYS)
This trek introduces you to the rich history of the Paro, Punakha and the Thimpu valley, with the serenic view of Mt Chomolhari (7311 mts) one of the most magnificent mountains in the Eastern Himalayas - truly a rewarding sight for the determined trekkers!
