AROUND BEGNAS LAKE (Four Days)

This is an easy, short trek around the Begnas Lake that starts and ends near Pokhara. The route gains about 900m from the Bijayapur Khola to the Gurung village of Shaklung and offers good mountain views.

Day 01 Drive or Fly to Pokhara.
Day 02 Drive to Bijayapur Army Camp (20 minutes). Then trek to Kalikasthan (1370 m).
Day 03 Kalikastan-Shaklung (1730 m).
Day 04 Shaklung-Chisopani.
Day 05 Chisopani-Pokhara. Trek to Begnas bazaar and then drive to Pokhara (30 minutes).
Day 06 Fly or drive to Kathmandu.

NOTE : TEA HOUSES (LODGES) ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN THIS ROUTE.
